Updated X-ray

Jim took me to see Dr. Chang today.  I have a spot at the very top of my incision that won't heal. Jim and Mama have been watching it. It has been red and puffy, but two days ago, the redness moved downward. We were worried that it was getting infected. Good news... Dr. Chang says it is most likely a suture abscess which means a suture under the surface has festered a bit and is probably working its way to the surface. It should clear up on its own. He went ahead and took an x-ray and showed us.  It was a digital x-ray and we didn't have our good camera with us, so Jim attempted to take a picture of it with his cell phone. It is not great quality, but it is better than the one he snapped a picture of right after my surgery.  At my 6 week check up, I will take the good camera and get a clear photo of the x-ray hopefully.
