Christmas and more

January 1, 2011 We went to our usual spot to play in the snow. There were storms earlier in the week and so it was fresh, powder snow. We have only played in wet, crunchy snow, so it was quite a change. This picture up top, Jim had just thrown a snowball at Jacob and he turned his head just in time to have it smash into his face!
December 25th Our neighbors invited us over for Christmas dinner. We had a great time! After dinner, we had the kids put together candy trains.
Christmas morning was also fun and we opened some great presents!
Christmas Eve, we went to the Mesa Temple to see the nativities and the lights.
Earlier in the day on Christmas Eve, we drove to Casa Grande to see the ruins there. It was smaller than I had hoped, but still really neat to see and very interesting to learn about. It was really neat to imagine the structures and how they lived.
We're happy to start a new year and see what exciting things this year brings!
