Some June happenings
This past Saturday was the Foutz Family Reunion in Mesa, which Jim's mom, Brenda, and Tim came for. They took us with them to a place called "Amazing Jake's" and boy, was it amazing! It was a huge indoor amusement park!
We played Miniature Golf, glow in the dark bowling, and rode many fun rides. We had a very nice weekend with them.
Way back to the beginning of June was Brian's birthday. He wanted a giant cookie instead of a cake, so I did my best to create it.
The Children's Museum downtown has a promotion this year. The first Friday of each month, you can get in to the museum at 6pm for free. I've wanted to take the boys, but it just hasn't worked out. We finally made it the first Friday in June. We waited in line for about 45 minutes or so but it was worth it! We had a blast inside. We liked a lit up table with sand on top of it. I had to write "Mom" in the sand.
They had a grocery store room where Brian weighed split peas.
We loved the noodle forest that we could walk through. You know, the noodles you can play with in pools? There were tons of them hanging from the ceiling. It was great!
The kids had a ball in one of the rooms, no pun intended. Balls were everywhere! They used ordinary household things to make ball drops. So fun!
On our way out the door, we stopped at a forced air kind of contraption. There were lightweight balls and hankies to put into the tubes and they would travel around the tubes.....then finally shoot out an opening. We have had a really fun month of June!
