Jacob got awards tonight at Pack Meeting. As you can see on his shirt, he had only one yellow bead and apparently should have had four already when he received his Wolf award last year. So he got the other three yellow beads. He also earned his Bear and 8 red beads for that as well as two more arrow points. This first picture is at home ready to leave for church.
After receiving his awards, Brother Owens told him to give me a hug twice and he stood there just smiling, so I figured I'd grab him and give him a silly hug. I smothered the poor kid!
Here he is with his awards. He wanted me to take a close up picture of him with his awards, so that's the last one. We are so proud of Jacob!

Congratulations! I just love scouts. What's up with the beads? Am I missing something? I haven't seen those before. I'm still learning all the cub scout stuff. I love your hug by the way. That's what I would do because Zach would just stand there as well.
