We went on a road trip to Jim's sister's wedding in the middle of September. It was great to be with family, even though it was not for very long. Jim, the boys and I left Wednesday evening the 12th at 4:30 and got to Bakersfield at about 12:30. The entire day Thursday was spent in the car, besides stops for bathroom breaks and food to get to Fort Bragg, CA. Friday we didn't have to drive a long distance.....yeah!!!!! We all had breakfast together and then Brittany wanted the girls to have a morning together, so the boys had all of the kids. The wedding was at sunset on the beach and was just beautiful! Saturday, we drove to Chico, which was about 5 hours and went to the reception that night. Sunday we left to drive back to Bakersfield, and Monday we drove back to our home. It was a LOT of driving, but the boys did so good! I was so proud of them. We enjoyed ourselves. I was not behind the camera at all for the weekend, so it was kind of fun to look at the pictures when we got home. Our camera, however, doesn't take pictures well in low light, so a lot of our pictures are fuzzy and dark. So here are some of the better ones.
This is one of the stops we made Thursday. Some construction was getting finished up here at this Jack in the Box and Jim just laughed at this sign they spray painted.

How fun! They look like a cute couple, and what a nice wedding location! The driving does sound a bit overwhelming though. Like that time we drove from here to your house, and then to Tucson and back the next day, and then home the day after that... LOL! Although yours sounds longer! LOL!
