Spring Break

This week is Spring Break for the boys, so Jim and I took two days off of work so we can have some fun time with the boys before all of the not so fun things start happening. One thing they wanted to do was go to Four Corners and play catch with one of them in each State. So off we went Saturday morning.

Teec Nos Pos is the town right beside Four Corners.

 

 

 

 

 Each boy wanted to be in all four States.

 

 It was cold and windy!

 They also played catch from State to State.

We drove back down to Flagstaff and got there about 9:30 pm. We were tired! Soon after we got a room, there was a thunder crack that was so loud it made the smoke detector scream. It sprinkled some, but then look what we woke up to in the morning.... It was a Spring Break winter storm!

 The boys went out onto the balcony and made a few snowballs. I stayed in the room and took pictures through the window.

 

 When there was a break in the storm, Jim went and borrowed a broom and scraper from the office to clean off the car. We needed to get out of there when it wasn't snowing and the highway had been cleared since it said it was going to storm more later.

 The boys played for a few minutes and we got on the road back home.

 I'm not fond of 20 degrees at all. Look at the icicle on the car mirror.

 It was storming still on some of the drive back home. The trees sure are pretty all covered in snow though.

 Monday, we went to a Spring Training Baseball game and watched a little over half of the game. It was cloudy and windy and if the sun wasn't shining on us, it was pretty chilly.

We also visited an aquarium in the evening.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tuesday, some friends took us to the zoo with their membership and we had a ton of fun there too!
