Anyone else feel like it was just Christmas?

Where has the time gone? It seems to be flying right by and I can't help but wonder how it's moving so fast. I know it's moving at the same speed it always has, but wow. Is it just me?

I just had to share this serious bed-head. Isn't he cute? I think it's about time to give him a hair cut though.
Jacob just completed a project for the science fair. He wanted to see which type of potato flew the farthest distance when shot out of our potato gun. This is the picture for his documentation of it. They actually went out into the desert to launch the potatoes, not in front of our house. He shot white, red, yellow and russet potatoes, raw and baked. The raw russet potato's flew the furthest with an average of 340 feet! He had a "blast" doing the project! Ha Ha!
We had a Pack meeting about two weeks ago and Brian had finished up what he needed to for his Bear rank. He got to pin the Mother's pin on my shirt.
Yay Brian! On to Webelos in June he goes!
Easter morning brought a bucket of goodies for the boys. We had a nice day at church learning of Christ and the resurrection. We also got to go have a nice Easter dinner with our wonderful neighbors. It was a great day.
We have had a lot of nice weather and have gone to the park as much as we can because that will end here in the next few weeks when the toys are all too hot to play on, not to mention it's just too hot to be outside unless you are in the water.

In March, we had the Pinewood Derby. Brian got to race his car 4 times. His car is the green one with blue wheels. I was pretty disappointed when they decided not to place the cars. They only gave out certificates to all of the boys. How are we supposed to teach kids about winning and losing if they can't win or lose? The boys had a fun night though!
