Holiday Concert

Brian and Kevin had a Holiday Concert last night. Brian played his Alto Saxophone for this concert and Kevin played his Trumpet. I was barely able to catch them afterward to snap a photo.

Yes, you are seeing that correctly. Kevin is now the tallest in our family! Anyhow, a Professional Saxophonist named Rob Verdi came and spent the day with our band kids. He entertains at Disneyland which the kids all thought was really cool. He performed with them at their concert. One of the highlights of the night was when he carried his giant Contrabass Saxpohone out onto the stage to play "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" with the band. Here is a picture one of Brian's choir friends sent him from her view up front. It's huge!

Brian had the opportunity to have his picture taken with it backstage and you can see the pure joy on his face!
