Jacob's Eagle Project!

Jacob has been planning his Eagle Project since October. He knew he wanted to do something for a retirement community or assisted living community. He contacted three that were nearby and asked if they have any projects they needed done. A Christian Care facility contacted him back the next day and the director said she had just been approved for a grant to put in a patio area so the memory care residents could go outside safely. They would be enclosing it with a fence so they would not wander off. Jacob said he would love to help. The area needed rock removed then patio pavers installed. This weekend we made that happen. It was a tiring and long weekend, but Jacob feels very satisfied with the end result. We had a total of 42 people come on Saturday to help and the total working hours was 110. Monday, we had 30 people come to help and the total working hours was 104.5. What a huge project! Here are some pictures from start to finish. We are so proud of Jacob's hard work making this happen!
