Brian started playing saxophone this school year. We have been borrowing one from the music teacher. Jim's mom brought him a really nice tenor saxophone when she came for Jim's graduation, but it was just too big for him to hold. We asked her if we could try to sell it and find him an alto saxophone. Sometimes things happen just right. I posted the tenor sax on craigslist for double what Jim's mom bought it for. After a few days, I got a call from a man who has been looking for a nice tenor sax for a few years, but couldn't find one inexpensive enough. He came to look at it, bought it right then and told us where to find a really nice Yamaha alto for Brian for what he just paid us for the tenor! So we went, bought it and had it all fixed up and still had $20 left when it was all said and done. Brian loves playing and is learning really quickly. He has his very own saxophone!
