8 1/2 hour drive to Bakersfield, California. They watched a few movies, had a milkshake, ate lots of snacks and were sooooooo happy to get out of the car when we got there! Jim and I leave today. We will fly out of Phoenix to Los Angeles, from Los Angeles to Hong Kong then on to Chengdu. We will arrive in Chengdu on Friday afternoon just after noon which will be Thursday around 9pm for all of you.
