Jacob's First Pinewood Derby

Jacob's first Pinewood derby was on March 17th. We managed to misplace the first car he and dad made, and still haven't found it! So the night before the weigh in, he and Jim scrambled to make another car which weighed too much. What a pain that was.

Here is Jacob's first time down the track against his good friend Spencer. Spencer was the undefeated champ for the race! His little orange racer was fast!

Here is another race against another good friend, Noah. Noah won second place.

This is Jim's newest fun thing he learned. Yes, that is my ear and yes, those are acupuncture needles in it. Five to be exact! He learned a detox method that he's practicing. I don't need the detox, but I'm the practice ear! Not to worry, it does no harm. Fun, fun, fun!
